Thomas Kostkiewicz is a Swiss attorney-at-law, notary public and SAQ-certified real estate broker with more than 25 years of experience in corporate law, financial-market regulation and governance. He advises corporations, financial institutions and family offices in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the EU and the US on complex cross-border legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
Before joining Lindemann Law, Thomas served for many years as General Counsel and Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance of an international financial group, where he was also a member of the Group Management Board. His career includes senior legal and compliance roles within LGT Bank and other regulated entities, as well as advisory mandates across the insurance, asset management and trust industries.
His practice focuses on corporate and regulatory law, governance and risk management, M&A transactions, financial-market regulation (FINMA, FMA, SEC, MiFID II, MiCAR) and real estate matters. He combines strategic insight with hands-on regulatory expertise and is regularly engaged in governance, risk and M&A projects.
Thomas also acts as notary public in the Canton of Schwyz and serves on several boards of directors. He is admitted to the Swiss and Schwyz Bar Associations.
