Martin Schweikhart advises as Senior Of Counsel in the area of Investment Funds and Structured Products. He has 19 years of professional experience in asset management in particular alternative assets, hedge funds, mutual funds and structured products. From 2000 to 2017 he worked in several senior positions at Man Group PLC in Switzerland and UK. Since 2017 he is a senior consultant for Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (“PIMCO”). He has also been appointed as an expert witness for the district court in Zurich on a high profile litigation case on a structured hedge fund product.
During his career Martin led several industry leading inventions such as the first Hedge Fund UCITS and CTA Fund in a UCITS format. During his time at Man Group he was also responsible for managing several billion of the firms leverage and brokerage book as well as the creation of multiple local structured notes, securitisations and fund structures.
Martin holds an LLM from Mainz University and an LLM from The University of Hong Kong.
