Thomas E. Meier is Senior Counsel at LINDEMANNLAW with focus on international private wealth and trust structuring. Having served throughout his career as a director of trust companies in Switzerland, the Channel Islands, the Caribbean and Cyprus the profound depth of his experience is hardly paralleled. Thomas is a banker by background and joined the trust industry in 1980. He served as a director and head of the Rothschild Trust Company in Zurich for 13 years and for 12 years as a director and head of the HSBC Private Bank Trust Company in Zurich. From 2005 till the end of June 2018 he was an executive director and head of marketing and business development of Paicolex Trust Management AG, Kusnacht, a company wholly owned by the law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.
He is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a former Deputy Chairman of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies (SATC).
Thomas is fluent in German, English and French.
