Our firm counts among its clients many of most successful Swiss and global entrepreneurs in industry and finance as well as countless Forbes billionaires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position:<\/strong> Partner &amp; Head of Capital Markets<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Zurich<br \/>\n<strong>Workload:<\/strong> 100% full-time<\/p>\n<h2>Job objective<\/h2>\n<p>Partner &amp; Head of Capital Markets is responsible for leading and developing the firm\u2019s capital markets practice, positioning the firm as a trusted legal advisor in equity, debt, and hybrid capital transactions.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and oversee the structuring and execution of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights offerings, private placements, bond issuances, convertible instruments, and structured products<\/li>\n<li>Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to capital raising, listing procedures, disclosure obligations, and corporate governance<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Swiss and international regulations (e.g. FinSA, FinIA, MAR, EU Prospectus Regulation, listing rules of the SIX Swiss Exchange and other relevant exchanges)<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, including prospectuses, offering memoranda, underwriting agreements, and shareholder communications<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with regulators, stock exchanges, underwriters, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Drive the acquisition of new mandates and expand the firm\u2019s presence in the capital markets space<\/li>\n<li>Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with other practice groups (e.g. M&amp;A, banking, regulatory, tax) to deliver integrated legal solutions<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate and expand long-term client relationships through high-quality service and proactive engagement<\/li>\n<li>Develop business development strategies, contribute to thought leadership (e.g. articles, webinars, events), and represent the firm at industry conferences<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and associates, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, billing targets, and operational goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<h4>Education<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Swiss bar admission and first-class qualification<\/li>\n<li>Excellent academic credentials in law (Master\u2019s degree \/ PhD)<\/li>\n<li>Additional studies in business law or financial law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Professional experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>10 + years of proven work experience as a lawyer, preferably in a partner role in a law firm, auditing firm, or senior level in-house legal department of bank or asset management companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Languages<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Stylistically confident, appropriate English and German<\/li>\n<li>Additional languages (e.g. French, Italian) are an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Cognitive and analytical skills<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mentality<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity, professional credibility, and discretion<\/li>\n<li>Results-oriented, proactive, and resilient under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Charismatic and confident, with the ability to represent the firm at conferences and industry forums<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative team player with an inclusive leadership style<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Leadership skills<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Established client network and ability to attract new mandates (existing book of business is a strong plus)<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to build and grow the firm\u2019s funds practice<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of legal professionals<\/li>\n<li>Experience in internal knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and promoting best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What we offer\u00a0to Partners<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Entrepreneurial approach:<\/strong> Build and lead your practice \u2014 with full strategic autonomy.
