Dr. iur. Alexander Schiemenz is a Managing Partner of LINDEMANNLAW. As a Swiss and European lawyer and tax advisor, he advises Forbes billionaires, Fortune 500 entrepreneurs, investment funds, asset managers and banks on legal, regulatory and tax matters. He is a frequent speaker and contributor for Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and Who’s Who Legal, as well as a commentator for Finanz und Wirtschaft on politics and legislative projects.
Investor
He invests in alternative assets, including venture capital, private equity and real estate. He is President of the SWISS CAPITALMARKETFORUM, which organises the annual Swiss Alternative Investments Forum.
Real Estate Investment & Development
Together with his wife Shynar Schiemenz, he founded TND Universe. They develop high-quality residential and mixed-use real estate projects from concept to completion, with a focus on value creation, sustainability and long-term investment potential as well as energy and mobility solutions.
Background
Dr. Schiemenz grew up in Munich and studied at the University of Bayreuth, the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and Washington and Lee University School of Law in Virginia, USA. He held senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Credit Suisse and Clifford Chance, as well as in the real estate industry, before founding LINDEMANNLAW. He served for many years on the board of a pension fund. Alexander is married and a father of six children.
