Mira Dossova, LL.M.

Mira is Of Counsel at LINDEMANNLAW in Kazakhstan. She is an expert in construction, investment, subsurface use, energy sector, commercial and corporate law. Mira has extensive experience in providing legal consultancy services on international investment, commercial and corporate law, subsoil use, energy sector, construction projects. She is also a member of the International Construction Law Association (ICLA) and has published several articles in Forbes.kz Magazine on topics such as industrial zones, oilfield services, and construction contracts.

In previous roles, Mira provided legal advisory services by coordinating the work of consultants. Her work included legal support for a gas power plant modernization and reconstruction project, advising on investment disputes in international arbitration, and advising cryptomining companies. Since February 2022, Mira has also been a part-time member of the Board of Directors of JV Baiterek JSC – Space Agencies of Kazakhstan and Russia (Kazkosmos – Roscosmos). Previously, from May 2018 to January 2023, she was a partner at Dasco Consulting Group LLP and also held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax & Advisory LLP (PWC), Northern Terminal of Aktau Sea Port LLP and Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP.

Mira graduated from the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Moscow, Russia, with a degree in Jurisprudence in 2000. She furthered her education at Dundee University (Center for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, CEPMLP) in Scotland, UK, where she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law and Transactions in 2011.

Mira is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English, making her a valuable asset in international legal matters.
