Raphael Züger, attorney-at-law and public notary, works as senior associate with a strong focus in the area of corporate and capital markets law as well as digital assets law. He heads the St. Gallen office based in Rapperswil. As a lawyer, he advises national and international clients in regulatory and legal matters including dealings with financial market authorities, in particular in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Cayman Islands, Malta and Luxembourg. In his function as a notary public, Raphael Züger provides notarial services and advises in connection with the incorporation and (re-) structuring of companies.
With a Master of Law from University of Fribourg Switzerland, Raphael was admitted to the bar in 2016 and worked in major law firms in the areas of private and capital market law. As legal counsel he worked for an industrial holding as well as private and crypto banks regulated in Switzerland, such as e.g. SEBA Bank AG and Bank Julius Baer. He understands the commercial needs of financial institutions and emphasizes in his advice the economic aspects.
Raphael is currently completing a LL.M. at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, in International Financial & Commercial Law and is fluent in German, English and French and has conversational knowledge of Spanish and Serbian.
